Hi! I’m Kelsie, the face behind Present Mom Passive Income, and this is how it all came to be.

I’m a wife and mom to 2 cute toddler boys. I am in the full-blown toddler stage with my boys being exactly 2 years apart. I always wanted to be a stay-at-home mom since I was a little girl. I definitely never imagined how life would actually end up being like down the road. After our first baby, I decided to try to make some money on the side by creating and selling handcrafted wreaths. After a year of making wreaths, I quickly learned how much time it took to craft each wreath, and how hard it was to do with a toddler. I then switched over to blogging and sharing decorating and other hacks online. However, I started to pivot on my blog to talk openly about motherhood, the good & the bad. This became healing to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing mom hacks and sales for kids. 

However, by 2023 inflation had drastically affected our little family. (ahem diapers and formula!). We did all we could to scrimp & save. However, I needed to go to work. I started working nights as a packager for 3 months. At this time, my baby baby was 7 months old, and my toddler 2.5 years old. I left the minute my husband pulled up to the house, and missed out on family dinners and bedtime altogether. I would then go to work and stand on my feet for HOURS, and finally roll into bed well after 2 AM most nights. My husband having a very demanding job, was up most nights from being on call, and we were completely burnt out. 

By the time Sunday came around, I was too exhausted to do anything. As I only slept from 2am-6:30am everyday. When I wasn’t working, I couldn’t sleep well so I would work really hard on blogging in hopes of “Striking it rich” someday. 

One night while I was working, packaging all night, I thought to myself. “I have to find out a way to make money online. I have to! And once I do, I am going to share it with others.” The next few days I kept thinking about this idea, and came up with “Present Mom Passive Income”.  I didn’t know how or what I would share, but I would find ways moms could make money online that weren’t a scam, and would somehow allow them to be in their own space & interests. And that’s where digital products come in! 

Eventually my little family moved and my husband was able to get a MUCH better, less demanding job. As we moved, I was able to find a stay-at-home mom job that would help cover our bills and add to our savings. 

And then the unexpected happen… my boss cut my hours just 1 week after moving into our new home. With my hours drastically cut, the stress just got worse, and I was looking for a second part-time job. 

And that’s when I said, That’s enough!!!! 

I had to figure out a way to make money online. A way to relieve the financial stress. My husband has done an amazing job at providing for our family. Inflation has just hit so many people… the housing market and rent rates are mind blowing, and the cost of groceries has nearly doubled for us, as frugal as we try to be. 

So in the back of my head has been this idea, “How can I be a present mom and make money online” And that’s how Present Mom Passive Income came to be. 

But let me be straight with you. It wasn’t a beautiful, perfect journey. I told you, I’ve tried just about everything. I took multiple courses. I have spent most of 2023 learning. Watching others, and how they made money online. I studied everything out, wrote down what I was learning in the courses. I was a student. 

Some courses were useful, and others, not so much. One course I took seemed like the “magic” I was looking for, but after LOTS of intensive research, I just didn’t feel like I could back it up and promote it, especially when I had no business buying such expensive courses. 

So this left me feeling pretty defeated during Christmas of 2023. 

And then this thought I kept having. A little curiosity about an MRR course my best friend told me about several months ago. 

And then one night after lots of thoughts and prayers, (and tears) trying to decide what direction to head, or if I should give up and find a job elsewhere, I decided to learn more. 

Within two days of learning about this course, my husband was 100% on board (he took nearly every course with me this year!). And we purchased the course. Together we started a new notebook of notes from this course, and the learning was so in depth, I didn’t have to watch YouTube videos to fill in the holes. Everything was covered. Every step was shown. 

It was everything I needed in a course, at a price that seemed very reasonable after the other courses I had taken that had BIG upsells well over 2k each. 

So that’s when I decided to move forward. To not give up, and to try something new. Something I had been skeptical of at first, but now wished I had done several months sooner.

Which leads us to now. After taking this course, and referring to it all the time. I can honestly vouch that the course was worth the $500 investment. I do wish I had taken this, and other courses similar to this much sooner. 

Did I buy this course to simply resell? I actually bought this course on the premise that I didn’t have to resell it if I didn’t love and didn’t believe in it, and my husband agreed. I bought the course to learn how to start my own business, and then I put in the simple steps that took me about 3-4 evenings to completely set up another side business, reselling this course, as well as other amazing resources pertaining to the course. 

This course won’t bring you instant success, but what you can learn in this course will absolutely guide you as you create your own business. 

For me, this $500 investment brought on two businesses, and I felt like someone was holding my hand through every click I made on my laptop. That’s how thorough it was! 

If you too are trying to find a way to make an extra $500 a month, this course is definitely worth considering. Would I recommend only reselling the course? No, not necessarily. I think it would be great to start, to build momentum. But I personally think the purpose of the course is to CREATE something new. Something that’s yours, and sell it. And then use the course as a way to make money on the side. This way you don’t have all your eggs in one basket. With multiple streams of income, you can feel a little bit more at peace. 

And if you’re like me, you can then feel relief. 

I no longer have to stress as much, and this girl has big dreams.
